Greenworks 20062 10-Inch 7 Amp Electric 2-in-1 Tree Pruner/Chain Saw with 8-Foot Pole Extension Review

Greenworks have a goal of setting the industry standard when it comes to clean and green tools for the home or yard. They claim that their entire line of tools has a zero carbon footprint and the design is of such high quality that they offer a 4-year warranty. One of their best pruners is the Greenworks 20062.

Greenworks 20062 10-Inch 7 Amp Electric 2-in-1 Tree Pruner/Chain Saw with 8-Foot Pole Extension

The Greenworks 20062 10-Inch Electric Chain Saw comes with an 8-foot pole extension so it can quickly be converted to a pole saw. For branches near the ground use it as a standalone chainsaw but when you need that extra reach just attach the pole extension.

The chain tension is easy to adjust and the bar and chain has an automatic oiler with a clear window so you can see when it needs to be refilled. Because this also works as a chain saw the bar and chain is a little larger than other pole saws. The 20062 has a 10-inch bar and chain which should make short work of any branches or logs you need to cut.

The pole saw/chainsaw is powered by a 7 amp electric motor. Included in the purchase of the chain saw is a pole extension, protective sleeve and an owner’s manual.

Features of the Greenworks 20062 10-inch Pole/Chain Saw:

  • 10-inch bar and chain
  • 2-in-1 pole saw and chain saw
  • 8-foot pole extension
  • 7 amp electric motor
  • Comes with 4-year warranty

The 20062 as received a number of very positive customer reviews such as the following… “What a sweet little saw. I’m extremely happy with it. I have used mid size gas powered chain saws (30″) and was a little concerned about whether it would have enough power. It does and it cuts through tree limbs quickly with little effort – it cut through 6-8″ limbs with no problem and would be able to cut 10″ limbs (maybe a little larger).”

As to be expected the pole saw can get a little heavy once it is fully extended.  Once you get used to it, however, it’s fairly easy to use and will allow you to cut overhanging limbs without risking harm to yourself.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
