One really wonderful feature is that the DSCT2 has 4Gbb of onboard memory. This frees you from the hassle of popping in an extra card then keeping track of it.

One of the biggest selling points of this camera is the size. At 5″x4″x0.7″ this camera is about as big as a credit card. It can go with you anywhere, unobtrusively. The onboard memory on this camera is sufficient to click a thousand pictures at the maximum supported resolution of 8mega pixels.

If you have a requirement to take more pictures then this camera comes with a slot for memory as well. It supports Memory Stick Pro duo which gives you a theoretical range of 32Gb or 8000 pictures at maximum resolution extra.

The great part is that you start writing to the card only when the internal 4Gb memory fills up. This reduces the requirement to keep swapping memory as well as between internal and external memory; the camera takes care of the organization. The touch screen on any device this small would be a daunting thing but not on the DSCT2. It’s a responsible touch screen with a decently built menu system to aid ease of navigation.

Adorable Features

The CarlZiess 3X Optical zoom lens on this system is the best in class. It allows you to actually zoom into objects even with the tiny dimensions of the camera. The camera is built for people who value compactness but at the same time do not wish to compromise on the quality of pictures they take.

It is small but with the super had ccd image sensor it actually has the capability of taking much better low light images than cameras from other manufacturers. The 4G of onboard memory means that you can start shooting the moment you take the camera out of its packaging. It also means you can go on shooting without having to worry about running out of memory.

The camera also sports face recognition and smile shutter. This allows you to take good pictures with the correct areas being in focus. It also features the proprietary Sony double anti blur technology which helps keep the image steady even if your hand isn’t.
